The Sufferin' Bastard Tavern
Hi,
my name is Ron Wilson. My wife, Stella, and I own and manage the
Sufferin' Bastard Tavern. Our goal, when we opened, was to establish a
friendly, laid back watering hole for folks looking for a place to
relax, play pool,
shoot darts and have a few drinks with friends. Our clientele come from
nearly every walk of life and work in all trades. Thirsty travelers and
truck drivers return time and
again once they have experienced our friendly hospitality.
The Sufferin' Bastard is a biker friendly establishment having hosted
bikers from near and far. Visitors include Senators, The Blue Angels, Harlem
Globe Trotters, members of the Easy Rider Staff as well as other popular
magazines and newspapers. Our customer rating, rated by the local press, exceeds that
of most city "hot spots." We have repeat customers from all over this
country and many foreign countries who make it a point to stop for a visit when
passing through Colorado Springs. The Sufferin' Bastard is a small, (seating
capacity 60), tavern enabling us to create and maintain a "Cheers" type
atmosphere.
We are located just north of Hwy 24, east of Colorado Springs, CO near
Peterson Air Force Base. There are two Motels across the street from
the Tavern: Super 8 on Peterson Road and an Econo Lodge On Panamint Ct.
Services and products
In addition to your favorite beverages we sell souvenir T-shirts and
other outerwear. We feature a beer garden for the summer months and a warm
cozy bar for the winter months. Numerous tourist attractions are within short
distances from the Tavern. In the shopping center adjacent to us is a restaurant,
laundry, liquor store, service station, barber shop, two motels and other
services.
